Showing us God’s ways in people’s words
The Bible is a collection of writings covering a long historical period. It tells stories of encounters with God mediated through the words of people. As a library of books, it offers many perspectives on life with God through diverse genres, addressing disparate questions in different contexts. Containing multitudes, it invites free and full conversations for those who have never seen God, those who see God everywhere, and those who want to see God. The Bible tells us what it looks like when God shows up but is also honest about how God too often remains elusive and hidden.
