Cláudio Carvalhaes is associate professor of homiletics and worship at McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago. Born in São Paulo, Brazil, he came to the U.S. as a “reverse missionary” through a partnership between the Presbytery of São Paulo and the Presbytery of Southern New England.
