Raniero Cantalamessa
Raniero Cantalamessa is a Catholic priest and author of Sober Intoxication of the Spirit: Filled with the Fullness of God. In 1980 he was appointed by John Paul II as Preacher to the Papal Household and retained in that position by Benedict XVI and by Francis. He preaches weekly during Advent and Lent at the Vatican. He is part of The Theology of Joy and the Good Life, a project at the Yale Center for Faith and Culture, which is supported by a grant from the John Templeton Foundation.
