Lauren Winner is an Episcopal priest who teaches Christian spirituality at Duke Divinity School. Her books include Girl Meets God and Wearing God: Clothing, Laughter, Fire, and Other Overlooked Ways of Meeting God. Her most recent book, to be published this fall, is The Dangers of Christian Practice, about how Christian practices can go awry.
