In the wake of Denis Villeneuve's adaptation of Frank Herbert's Dune, Sunday Morning Matinee joins the conversation about the value of this story and its power in a new age. As the source of so many sci-fi and fantasy tropes, this movie is hard to talk about independent of all that came after.
