This blog is going on paternity leave

So, I'm a dad. Baby Anna arrived early the other night, having spent 34 weeks gestating and having decided enough was enough. She's doing fine but still in the hospital with a supplemental feeding tube and some light therapy, along with various monitor-type machines that go "bing."

Till she comes home, I'm scrambling to get ahead on my various editorial duties here at the Century. Once she does, I'll be going on paternity leave. In both cases, posting will be lighter than usual. I'll pop in for a short thing here and there, but it'll be several weeks before I'm posting regularly again.

Thanks as always for reading.
