Elsewhere, the world's most prestigious prize was awarded to pretty much an entire continentThis is relegated to story #2, according to NPR top-of-the-hour news, Google News, etc.

Meanwhile, the world's third-largest corporation and largest retailer—and a champion union buster—is experiencing a bit of a labor uprising. Yesterday this wasn't even the top Google News story about Walmart. Today it finally is. But it still isn't on Google News's homepage.
